On my last trip to London in 2015 I was struck by how the skyline had changed. But shiny new office blocks have never held much appeal for me. Instead, it was the high rise homes that kept drawing my attention, in particular, the famous Trellick Tower. Critics of brutalist architecture find the concrete greys oppressive; but I see life, colour and diversity. As I explored ways to express this, I created my Life Bubble series, of which the two works below are amongst my favourites.
